Bhoodevi Homam

The Bhoodevi Homam embodies the fertility aspect of Goddess Lakshmi. For the worship of Humi Devi, the following mantras must be intoned. Within the Yajurveda-Taitareeya Sakha-Aaranyakam, the primary prasna centers on the worship of Surya. This essence is encapsulated through various appellations such as Aruna Prasnam, Aarunam, Suryanamaskara Mantras, and Surya-Upanishad. This compilation comprises 32 Anuvakas, totaling 132 Panchatees. The verses within Aruna Prasnam exalt the Sun God, guiding the practice of Soorya Upasana and Aruna Kethuka sayanam.

Through the recitation of these mantras and the act of offering obeisance to the Sun God at sunrise, individuals can attain the entirety of Purusharthas. This practice promises an elongated lifespan accompanied by robust health, recognition, radiance, and more.
